My approach to the instrument was to create a noise maker with an interactive interface. I used the Processing sound library to get a variety of different sounds. When pressed, the white button creates white noise. The brown button creates brown noise. The pink button creates pink noise. The green and black buttons create these weird oscillator noises. When you move your mouse off the screen, the pitch decreases by one level. I’m still trying to find a command that would allow me to completely stop the sound when you move the mouse off the screen.
